Missing Pumpkin Man…please return

Connie and John Hedrick’s Pumpkin Man inflatable was stolen last night right out of their front yard. Please keep an eye out for the Halloween decoration and/or provide any information that might lead to getting him back where he belongs. There are some very sad and disappointed children (and adults, for that matter). He’s a five year tradition, and we’d like to get him back!Editors note: we have ruled out the Gingerbread man as a culprit because he was seen leaving the neighborhood while yelling “run, run, as fast as you can, but you can catch me because I’m on sale at Sprouts.”  Speaking of, I still have some of those 15% coupons.

Found Dog - Beagle Mix

Appeared Wednesday, May 6th, about noon near the waterline construction on Vale Street in Rollingwood.  Medium sized (18″ tall) mixed breed dog — part Beagle?  Brown and black with white feet.  Seems well cared for.  His is shy, well mannered and scared but will walk on leash.  Has not barked one time.  Likes tuna and bacon bits but is not fond of dry food.  Contact Charles Griggs at 327-2807 if you know who this dog might belong to. Posted by Ken Krakow for Charles Griggs.

Found! small older chihuahua, 5/06

We found the dog wandering between the park and Ridgewood Rd.

Found Dog feeling blue in the collar!

We have a lost dog that has shown up at our house. It’s a small to medium sized black, tan and white border collie or blue healer mix.  Probably a year old. It has a blue collar but no phone number or tags.

Update: The dog was reunited with it’s owner!

Found White Cockatoo

Kathryn at Ridgewood & Gentry found a pet white cockatoo.  She wants to give someone the bird.  Please call her at 363-5999

Not masked bandits - just escaped raccoons, but they’re wanted!

The Austin Nature Center had their raccoon enclosure broken into sometime in the night and the two raccoons are missing.  They looking for them on their  grounds and in the preserve, and fully expect to see them about dinner time.

However, they wanted to alert Rollingwood residents to be aware that if a raccoon appears too friendly, it might not be sick, just tame.  DO NOT PICK THEM UP.  If you hear any reports of a friendly set of raccoons, please call them at 327-8181 and give the location information, and contact information to our front desk folks.  Wildlife staff can be reached at 327-8181 ext 18.

The raccoons are Yoli and Pepper, and the male is extra large. They will probably be traveling together, and looking for water bowls.  They do bite, so resist your normal urges to cuddle with wild raccoons. If your urge to cuddle raccoons persists after reading this post, please consult with the animal shelter and adopt a cat.

Found Cat: older white Tom

A friendly older white Tom cat turned up on the corner of Edge Grove and Timberline.  This is someone’s house cat, not a stray.

To reclaim contact Laura or Rob @ 347-0153

Blurry Dog Found on 4/5

I don’t have more details, but you should assume that the dog is not actually this blurry.

Please call Karey at 512.917.8919.
