Theresa Brawley reminded me that we’ll be dedicating the plaque for Donnie Williams at the October BBQ.

Donnie was the Rollingwood Maintenance director from 1991 to 2004. He died this year of cancer and was widely loved by long time residents. Donnie loved our park & a tree near the cement table in playscape area will be dedicated to him.

Details will come later for the dedication.

The City Council meeting schedule for Wednesday of this week (9/20) has been postponed until Thursday of next week (9/28).

The official agenda will be posted by 9/20, but the topics are expected to include:

• The City budget
• Changes to Boards & Comissions
• Review of ACL parking ordinance
• Building Code ordinance revisions

We have finialized the dates our next events!

The BBQ will be October 21th from 11 to 2 PM

We are having contests for best dessert/baked good and best haiku.

The Garage Sale will be November 11th (start time TBD)

We are working on a mailing that will provide a way to buy tickets and sign-up. The mailing be delivered next week. Of course, the information will be available here too.

We found a black lab with an invisible fence collar this morning (Thursday), but it does not have a name or number on its collar.  If you know whose dog this might be, please give us a call at 328 8733 or 577 4666 - thank you!!

The next Rollingwood Women’s Club meeting features Dr. J Angerstein on Women’s Health. This event is scheduled for 9/26 at 7 PM. Early versions of the RWC calendar incorrectly showed the time as 10 AM.

This blog has a subscription feature where you can sign-up to get notified when items appear about some or all of our topics. In techo speak, this is known as pushing an update. To use this feature:

1. you must create an account using the register feature (bottom right).
2. After you register, the system will email you a password to login.
3. Login to the site (again bottom right) and fill in your profile and a new password.
4. After you update the profile, then click on “Subscriptions” (3rd row from the top under “Profile”).
5. Pick the topics you want to get emailed about
6. Click update preferences.

You only have to do it one time! After that, you can comment on items on the blog
