Music to my ears: Band & Bread

We’ve had some last minute additions to the BBQ.

  • Dale Dingly has lined up music for us to enjoy during the BBQ
  • Panera Bread (our newest RW eatery) will be donating the prices for our contests

Everyone is encouraged to bring desserts.  Baking Contest judging is optional and ends at 12:30.

Remember to get those tickets in TONIGHT!

City Newsletter!

Wow - the City now has an online newsletter!  The first edition is dated October 6th and available from the City Of Rollingwood web site under “City Government…Agendas”.

Topics include Budgets, Coytes, Meeting Notices, Boards Vacancies, & Rolling Stones.

Have a rant? Bring it on!

One of my primary objectives for this site is to encourage citizens to post items of general interest.  This includes community events, lost pets, births, new neighbors, etc.  I strongly believe that this helps build our community.

I also recognize that people would like to use this forum to express political opinions; however, I believe that mixing political commentary into the body of this site detract from its primary use.

I am proposing a solution: a forum dedicated to political discussion called rant.myrollingwood.com.  I setup that comment forum for people to post about City government issues.  It is easier to add comments on to the Rant forum, but it lacks many of the editing features of the main site.

Please let me know what you think!

RNA Meeting 10/11, 7 p.m. at City Hall

We need your help with the BBQ and Garage Sale. Please come to the RNA organization meeting next Wednesday.

OctoberQue Ticket Form

Octo-Ber-Que Ticket Form

Everyone should have gotten the BBQ flyer by now. Our team of volunteers will also be going around the city selling tickets door to door. If you lose the flyer and miss the ticket sellers, you can still print your own Octo-Ber-Que Ticket Form from this site!

You must drop off or mail in the form to be registered for the BBQ! This is very important because we need tell Pok-e-Jo’s how much food to bring.

You should complete and return the right side of the form. The left side of the form is a reminder card that you keep.
