“Rollingwood Rocket” shuttles middle school astronauts home

Eanes ISD has added a special bus route #602, aka the Rollingwood Rocket, to provide a more direct afternoon drop off for Hill Country Middle School students. The Rocket will pickup at HCMS after school and drop off at the corner of Rollingwood & Gentry and then Rollingwood & Los Lomas. There are no other stops!
If your HCMS student wants to ride the Rocket then you must complete a permission form (click here)! The note should include the student’s name and grade along with specific permission to ride the “Rollingwood Rocket” home from school.
The new route should reduce congestion at HCMS because parents will not need to pick-up at the school. It also allows students to avoid much longer routes that include students from other grades. The bus has a very small availability (just 20 minutes) and cannot make any additional stops.
