Elves needed to help with City Employee Holiday Baskets
December 11, 2007 by LauraHirschfeld.
The RWC is making their list and checking it twice, and know some people who are always very nice…our City Employees! They make our lives better and safer and easier every single day! The Women’s Club makes it VERY EASY for you to express your appreciation and gratitude to them in a fun way that lets them know how much our whole community thanks and appreciates them.
Here’s how it works: The Women’s Club has containers–different every year–and the members bring 14 small identical (or similar) items to a central location (my house this year). We put the items into the containers, and voila! Cute basket/tote bag/flower pot/ mop bucket full of a variety of fun gifts for each City Employee!
How can you be a part of this?
- Make or get 14 small items, or go with a friend or two on something maybe a little bigger. Cookies, baked goods, candles, soaps, picture frames, mugs, food items, gift cards, BE CREATIVE! I know they really like baked goods, so add a bit to your holiday baking!
- Bring them to LAURA HIRSCHFELD: 4900 Timberline Dr (Corner of Edgegrove and Timberline)
- DEADLINE: MONDAY, DECEMBER 17!!!!!
