Creek Cleanup a BIG SUCCESS!

Many Thanks to Lisa Serface for her work organizing this great event!  The weather was perfect and many bags of trash and recyclables were collected.  Items included bottles, cans, 30 pound motors, construction materials, desks, grills, dolls, and cell phones.

Participants included Boy and Girl Scouts from Eanes Elementary:

Do DUES do anything?

Paying your RNA dues helps you and our community!

First, the dues are CHEAP.  Just $15/year.  That’s a bargain and costs you less the watering your lawn.

Second, the dues pay for this potentially award winning web site and eNewsletter.  We’ve got exclusive information that you can’t get anywhere else like lost cats and trash pickup challenges.

Third, the dues fund exciting neighborhood events including:

  • Easter Egg Hunt (3/22/2008)
  • Corner Socials
  • Candidate Forums (early May)
  • National Night Out (late August)
  • Bar-b-que (October)
  • Garage Sale (semi-annual)

Don’t be left out in the cold!  Send your $15 check to the “Rollingwood Neighborhood Association” care of Sarah Mead at 2703 Hatley Drive.

Easter Egg Hunt 3/22 @ 9 AM

Rollingwood’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt rolls into town on Saturday, March 22nd at the Rollingwood Park.

The festivities commence at 9 AM with music by Mr Johnny and Sharon as a warm up for the Hunt. The Hunt starts at 9:30 shape. We’ll also have an appearance by the famous furry rodent itself and our traditional water balloon toss.

9 AM too early? Don’t fret because there will be plenty of Seattle’s Best Coffee.

Special thanks to this year’s Hunt chairperson, Lisa Serface (lserface[at]yahoo[dot]com)!
