Hello Rollingwood!

It’s been a long, hot, and dry summer - can you image a better way to shake off the summer blues than a night out at the Rollingwood Pool with free dinner and good company?  I can’t either!  That’s why you must go to National Night Out this Tuesday!

National Night Out is celebrated on the first Tuesday in August (8/5)* at the Rollingwood Pool from 6 to 8.  The Rollingwood Police will be on hand with information and prizes.  The Westlake Fire Department will demonstrate their water cannon by dowsing the children.  Dinner is provided by Chipotle Mexican Grill, Pizza Nizza, and your RNA dues.  Don’t be late - I won’t promise to save you a burrito.

This is a neighborhood event - you do not need to be a member of the pool.

Reminder: Octo-Ber-Que is coming on 10/5!

* Many Texas cities have elected to move NNO to October.  We decided to keep it in August because we are able to host the event at the pool.

Perfect Parade & Picnic pleases plenty of people

What an awesome event!  This year’s 4th of July extravaganza was blessed with perfect weather and lots of smiling neighbors.

The queens of setup made sure that everything was ready to go!

Many Thanks to July 4 Sponsors

Our July 4 Parade and Celebration raises money for the Rollingwood Women’s Club to use toward our mission of improving our parks and public areas.   We could not put on such a fun community event without the help of our sponsors, so please join me in extending  heartfelt thanks to them for supporting Rollingwood!!

Hello Rollingwood!
It’s time to celebrate Independence Day with our 30th annual home-town parade, picnic, and raffle.

  • Line-up at 8:30 and the parade will roll at 9 AM sharp (route).
  • Children riding bikes for the bike parade should line up by the Rollingwood Pool (WHAC).
  • You can buy raffle tickets at both the parade and picnic so bring your dollars.
  • The picnic will have new food choices, fabulous raffle prizes, kid activities, and wonderful neighbors.

Important Note: we do NOT have evening access to the Zilker Club House this year - it has been rented to a private party.  There will be no organized RW fireworks viewing from that location!
Special thanks to the event sponsor Rollingwood Women’s Club and event chair, Liz Krakow.
