Is your lawn GREEN ENOUGH YET?

No, but stop watering anyway.  The City is facing PENALTIES if we continue to exceed use limits and those costs will be PASSED TO BACK TO ALL RATE PAYERS.   Keeping your lawn green will cost you some green because the City will be issuing citations for EXCESSIVE WATER USE.   This is a COMMUNITY ACTION, everyone needs to participate.  Here’s what YOU are expected to do:

  • Water lawns one day (OR LESS) per week according to the schedule
  • Water lawns between Midnight and 10 AM only
  • Don’t refill your pools

You could also consider checking your system so you’re not watering the street and watering by hand.

Seeking Chair for Rollingwood Austin Toros Night

Is anyone interested in taking a leadership roles with coordinating with the Austin Toros?

If so, please contact Rob (president[at]rollingwood[dot]com)

They are the NBA Development League team owned by the San Antonio Spurs.  They would like to discuss “Rollingwood Night with the Austin Toros” at a designated game next season.

THey would invite the entire Rollingwood community to one of our games for a civic celebration of your city.  Here are a few highlights of how we’d like to include the city at the game:

·

You will be invited to be an honorary captain of the game and be presented with a game ball at the beginning of the game.

·         We would spotlight civic leaders of the community throughout the game such as teachers, local government, military heroes and vets, cancer survivors, student athletes, student leaders and/or other areas of interest that you might have.

·         We would meet with civic organizations, non-profits, charities, schools and local organizations and groups throughout the city to make sure everyone is involved with the game.

·         We would talk to local businesses about getting involved as sponsors of the game to drive local business.

·         We would create promotions, contests and ticket discounts for groups throughout the city.

·         We will work with local media outlets to promote the game.
