City Fall Cleanup: Nov 6-8

The city is providing dumpsters at 2600 Dellana Lane on 11/6 (7 to 5pm) and 11/7 & 11/8 (7 to 7 pm).Residents are encouraged to use the dumpsters to clean up your property and discard materials such as old furniture, wood, and other bulky items on the group.Curbside chipping is NOT offered this year.  Place green waste and tree limbs adjacent to the dumpsters.PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE DUMPSTERS TO dispose of liquids, appliances, tires, batteries, computers, or hazardous substances!

Missing Pumpkin Man…please return

Connie and John Hedrick’s Pumpkin Man inflatable was stolen last night right out of their front yard. Please keep an eye out for the Halloween decoration and/or provide any information that might lead to getting him back where he belongs. There are some very sad and disappointed children (and adults, for that matter). He’s a five year tradition, and we’d like to get him back!Editors note: we have ruled out the Gingerbread man as a culprit because he was seen leaving the neighborhood while yelling “run, run, as fast as you can, but you can catch me because I’m on sale at Sprouts.”  Speaking of, I still have some of those 15% coupons.

RWC meeting Tuesday 10/27, location changed

RWC Meeting Tuesday, Oct. 27th at 7pm.  At the home of Susan Jenkins, 405 Vale Street.  NOTE CHANGE IN LOCATION!!!!!!

Here’s the topic, suggested by Susan Jenkins:

It is Saturday night, you are driving home from a long, overdue dinner with girlfriends.

You glance in your rearview mirror to see flashing red and blue lights…

You are getting pulled over…

That glass of wine (or two or…) you had with dinner flashes in your mind.

What are you suppose to do when….

            the officer orders you to perform a field sobriety test;

            the officer requests to search your car; and

            the officer wants you to take a breath test.

Come meet the experts, Corinne Sumpter and Kristi Couvillon,  and learn the answers to these and other “what to do when…” questions.  To learn more about these attorneys and their firm, please visit www.representingthegoodinpeople.com.
